New York Coalition for Healthy School Lunches, Inc.

The Coalition for Healthy School Food (CHSF) is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit that introduces plant-based foods and nutrition education in schools to educate the whole school community about the health, environmental, and social justice issues of our food choices. Additional information: The whole school community includes students, parents, teachers, paraprofessionals, and food service personnel. We work with Food Service Directors to change menus, develop quantity recipes, teach our Food UnEarthed nutrition education curriculum, create educational resources for use in classrooms and the cafeteria, and create professional development presentations for the adults.
